NMA membership provides several benefits but is focused on the two key areas of continuing education/advanced training and giving every member a platform for broad exposure to their community.
Every Nutritional Medicine Association member receives a Certificate of Accreditation and is listed in the Nutritional Medicine Directory www.nutritionalmedicine.com which includes patient testimonials and an audio interview of every member to showcase their practice.
Nutritional Medicine is the largest directory of licensed and accredited healthcare providers with advanced training in Alternative/Functional Medicine, Biological Dentistry and Non-Force Chiropractic.

The Nutritional Medicine Association provides accreditation for all qualified physicians including medical doctors, dentists, chiropractors or PhD clinicians. NMA requires evidence of post graduate certification in one or more of the following: Functional Medicine, DACBN, IAACN, NUCCA, AACAM, IAOMT and others. Our accreditation certifies each member is a physician insofar as he/she possesses an earned doctorate degree in their respective field.
We also provide membership to students who are on the path to accreditation including a mentoring program. All NMA Physician Members receive a Certificate of Accreditation

It’s human nature to want the best doctor you can find when you have a health issue. More and more people are aware of addressing the underlying root cause/s as opposed to merely palliating symptoms. The conventional/Allopathic medical approach will always be the standard for crisis intervention. Nutritional/Functional approaches to medicine are an absolutely essential part of intelligent healthcare intended to augment–not replace–conventional medicine.
Many physicians agree that the underlying cause of chronic disease is multifactorial thereby requiring a multi-faceted approach. Most patients with a serious chronic disease will benefit the most from a team approach of physicians all cooperating for the highest good and welfare of the patient.
